The Hofbräuhaus is open every day from 11 a.m. to midnight. The ground floor (where traditional live music is played every day) can accommodate 1,300 guests. Reservations are not accepted.
The ballroom on the upper floor is ideal for event organisers. It can accommodate up to 750 guests. The in-house kitchen is easily equipped for large corporate events. Musicians and dancers on the stage can be seen throughout the hall.

Bergvagabunden – Bavarian live music and Bavarian dancers at the Hofbrauhaus
Singer/musician Elmar Wiesenmuller performs regularly with his band Bergvagabunden at the Hofbrauhaus, around 15 times in 2025 alone. The band first plays traditional Bavarian music, then the Bavarian dancers perform (prices at schuhplattler.de) and after dinner, the band Bergvagabunden plays international party music. During the breaks, the band does the DJing themselves. Bergvagabunden brings its own event equipment, so organisers don't have to worry about a thing when they book Bergvagabunden for their corporate event at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich.
