Many of the most important trade fairs, such as bauma, take place in Munich, and major international corporations such as Google, Microsoft and Apple have their German headquarters here. Few cities in the world offer such a wide range of options for organising an event — from a trip on a raft with five participants to an event in a stadium for 50,000. Whether modern or traditional, typically Bavarian or fully international, almost any event is possible.

Here you will find (almost) everything you are looking for when preparing a corporate event in Munich — not just bands and musicians, but all the services and products that make an event a success.

Did you know?

Munich is the capital of Bavaria, on the river Isar in the foothills of the Alps, with around 1.5 million inhabitants (2019). Alongside the University and the Technical University it has numerous colleges and museums — among them the Deutsches Museum and the Alte and Neue Pinakothek — and is home to research institutions such as the Max Planck Society and the Fraunhofer Society. It is one of the most important educational and cultural centres in Germany.

The city is also a major business hub, with a focus on the service sector — banks, insurance companies, high-tech firms and the media industry. Popular sights include the late-Gothic Frauenkirche, the Residenz, Nymphenburg Palace, the English Garden and Hellabrunn Zoo, and of course the annual Oktoberfest. Founded in 1157/58 by Henry the Lion, Munich was the residence of the Wittelsbach dynasty from 1255 to 1918.

Who am I

A musician who shares his network

Yes, that’s me — the guy with the accordion. I’m Elmar, a Munich musician who loves to play with the Bavarian band Bergvagabunden.

Over the years my customers — from Saudi Arabia, Canada, the UK, the USA, India, Spain, France and Mexico — kept asking me for more than music: a good hotel, the right restaurant, a venue, hostesses, a decorator. So I built munich-event.com to share my network with you.
